Meeting Minutes
Many Non-profit organizations have boards made up of people who are very busy, and often from very different geographic locations.
When someone isn't able to make a meeting, it's important that an easy solution exists for them to get the minutes quickly and easily. While mailing a copy of the minutes to each person works, this creates cost and doesn't get directly to the person if they're travelling. Why not use your website to post your meeting minutes, using a secure section of your website for those minutes that need to be kept confidential.
Public documents like Financial Statements can be posted in other locations on the site so people can easily see how effectively you
have been using the funds raised, encouraging even more people to donate. This aspect of financial accountability may soon become
a legal requirement for 501(c)3 reporting charities in order for them to maintain their non-profit status.
